posted 14 Jul 2015, 05:01 by Andrew Yeaman   [ updated 7 Oct 2015, 05:55 ]

Introduction
This year’s Cohen Shield from State Scout Council recognises the service and sacrifice of people during
war time in all wars of all nations. The event is to commemorate the 100 years of ANZAC and forms a
part of this year’s Their Service Our Heritage badge. There are five activities which revolve around the
Pioneer level Award Scheme and successful patrols could have the relevant items signed off in their green
books back in their troops.

Activities
1. Campcraft
2. Compass
3. Construction
4. Cooking
5. First Aid

Cohen is an opportunity for you as a Patrol Leader to strengthen the Patrol System using the Scout Method Learning By Doing. We encourage supportive mentoring behaviour.

Some equipment will be supplied but as in other years we ask you to also bring along some gear for your patrol. Please see separate equipment list for full details.

Opening Parade 8:20 am, Closing 3:10 pm, Flag down & home 3:50 pm
